i was just curious as what the average cost on a 6000 mile service is on a '02 620. i just got my bike a few months ago and @ around a 80 mile commute everyday i'm already @ 6k. i bought it used with 1200 miles so it was pretty much brand new but i didn't get any service vouchers. i have a couple other issues that need to be dealt with: 1. i have some slippage on hard take offs almost like the chain or tire is slipping (checked the chain and sprokets, seemed fine) and 2. the tranny case above the front sproket is leaking from the seal. any help or suggestions on a good place in socal to have the service performed and hopefully some warranty work done? i took it to del amo awhile back for a check up and a new tire but since haven't heard of anyone else going there for a major service.

There are several places in the Bay Area that will do a 6000 mile service for around $300.

Some dealers try to charge quite a bit more than that, though.

I bought my bike at Pro Italia in glendale, and they have done some warranty work. No service yet. Turned out fine.
