Ill be due for my first service shortly and had a question with regards to getting the service done. I have approx 900km on right now and called the delear to schedule an appointment. Earliest they could take my bike is May 3rd. Basically my question is it advisable to let the bike sit till then and not go over the 1000 km mark or should i just keep riding and not worry about going over the mark. Luckily weather has been brutal in Toronto so right now im not minding the constant rain we have been getting lately. Thanks in advance JP

Short answer is keep riding. Just don't add too much milage beyond 600 miles before you get it serviced.

My shop told me it was okay with between 600 and 1000 miles....that being said I called today, they said to bring it in on Wednesday and pick it up on Thursday...
