I noticed my clutch was starting to go..so while at the shop getting a new chain and sprockets, they had an STM 48 tooth clutch at a price I could not refuse.

Has anyone else thrown in a lighter aluminum clutch? Did it make your bike run smoother?

I am quite amazed with how much smoother the bike is and easier it is to pull the clutch. I don't think it weighs that much less, but it seems to make a significant difference, or my original clutch was always fudged from the get go, therefore my post and question.
I have to say although more quiet, the sound is also more pleasing.

I was checking out your new bike candy when your bike was down at Manley
Really? Are you talking that snazzy RED one that matches my wheels? PM me what you want for it.
Yeah, that is the one. You should be able to order it off of sprocketspecialists.com. They are less that $50. When I go up in the back that is the way I will go. Light weight w/ the strength of steel. I didn't even know about it until I saw it on Retro's bike. IT looks great w/ the gold DID chain also.
