What else can you tell me about the mechanical condition of the bike...
Why did it need a new timing belt at 6500 miles....Have your add-ons
had any effects on the running/handling of the bike......how firm are you on that price and could it be shipped to Missouri?.....thanks

The bike is in excellent condition in all aspects. The new timing belt was scheduled maintenance based on the bike being 2 years old from date of manufacture according to the dealer. The add-ons have produced more power, better sound and looks.

I am somewhat flexible on the price. I sold a bike a few years ago to someone in San Francisco so I know it can be shipped to Missouri.

Can you describe the ergonomics a bit....i am a 5'11 rider ...have a monster
620 that is comfortable and a bmw r1100s that numbs my hand but
its tolerable.....legs are fine....also what mileage do you get on a tank of gas.
do you think this is a suitable bike for myself and a 19 yr old son with about
1 year of riding experience....

I'm 5'7"and the bike is ok for me. If the 620 works for you then it should be fine. With the addition of the Termignoni system the mileage is about 90 per tank. I had a R1100S and after handlebar risers it was more comfortable.

The big difference between the 620 and R1100S vs. this bike is the raw power. It will easily wheelie in the first 3 gears. At low speeds you have to be very careful with the throttle. Throttle response is immediate. A new rider could get themselves into trouble quickly.

Additional items left out by my mistake

This includes a Ducati rear wheel stand and an Arai / Ducati limited edition helmet size large. This is an Arai Corsair helmet with two face shields worth over $800. The GPS is a Garmin Nuvi 760 wide screen with current maps. I could be persuaded to throw in a Vanson Star leather jacket. I have clear title and will entertain any reasonable offer.
