2007 Monster S2R 800

Hello,

I am in the process of purchasing a 2007 Monster S2R 800 with less than 1,800 miles. Just for my own satisfaction, I was wondering what you might think this bike is actually worth? It is bone stock with no mods and is completely flawless. (1st service has been performed)

I was also wondering if I should have any additional services performed prior to riding (i.e. oil change, belts, etc...)

Any input would be greatly apprceiated.

That varies per region. Check NADA for a good estimate. I would say no more than 5k.

$5K USD sounds about right. An '07 with that few miles has been sitting awhile. Suggest you change the oil and filter and make sure there's no stale gas in it too. Factory recommends changing the cam belts at 6K miles or two years. If that hasn't been done recently, it would be wise to do it now.

Agree with the above. If it had the tailchop/ complete exhaust system or some basic mods like that done, I would consider paying a bit more, but on average for a stock S2R, $5k sounds about right.

yep, check nada. Maybe for an 2007 is a bit more. I recently checked 2006 in my area. They go for around 5k-5,5k
