I am selling my 2006 Ducati S2R 1000 motorcycle that I have owned since new. It has been adult owned and ridden and stored in a temperature controlled garage. It is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. Mileage is 9,840. The bike was recently given a full service (including valve adjustment and new belts) by DucPond motorcycles and it ready to go for the upcoming season. It needs nothing. Bike is located in Elkridge, MD. It has several upgrades that I will list below also installed by Ducpond:
-Full Arrow Titanium race exhaust (sounds fantastic!)
-DP ECU chip-tuned by Donnie Unger
-K&N Air filter
-Race Tech front suspension-tuned by Donnie
-EBC front brakes
-14t front sprocket
-Rizoma mirrors
-Rizoma brake and clutch reservoirs
-Pazzo adjustable levers
-Sargent Seat (also have DP gel seat and OEM seat)
-SpeedyMoto clutch cover (also sounds fantastic!)
-Speedymoto clutch plate

The upgrades alone cost more than my asking price of $5500.00. It is an incredibly fun bike, but current family obligations leave me with no time to ride. You will love it!

Thanks guys, I really do think it's a great bike at a great price. I may be slightly biased though...

Any chance you'd part with the Sargent seat only? I've got a 2008 S2R1000 and looking to replace the stock seat.

Also, is that a short or regular (seat).

Thanks.

Not looking to sell the seat at this time. I'll let you know if I decide to sell off a few bits.

Ahhh...very tempted. I'm in southern VA and in the market for a Monster and I've always been a fan of the S2r's and their beautiful swingarms...and the silver is my favorite color of the bunch...and it looks like you have taken really good care of your bike.

I know this is a retarded question...but what kind of fuel economy do you get on this bike when riding in commuter mode?

Just FYI, my 2008 S2R1000 gets around 50mpg and I don't even need to baby it.
