Hey all,
Brand new monster.org user. I have a question about my poor dented monster 750 tank. She's a 2001 carbie, and I was curious what other years might have a tank that would fit my baby. I have access to a 1999 monster carbie tank, but I'm not sure if it will fit my bike. I haven't seen the tank in person yet, so I can't tell for sure. Can anyone tell me whether or not it will fit?

Hey, Superman! Don't give up on that poor dented tank! You Now have a good excuse for a custom paint job. Any decent bodyshop could pull the dents and give it a custom squirt for less than a replacement tank. Just my thoughts.
Tell Ms. Lane to give me a call sometime! ;D

i'm pretty sure there's a difference in fitment between '99 and '00 tanks which would lead to problems fitting that '99's on your '01. something having to do with seat alignment/fitment if i recall.
i'll second the motion to have your dented up tank repaired. you'll have to find a painter, but if you want a GREAT repair job, contact norm from this board ([email protected]). he did a bang up job (ha!) on my monster's tank after a big honkin high-side. he sent it back baby-smooth with a nice prime job done for short $$. got it painted locally and now it's peachy keen
