Hello all, in my manual under transmission (m750) it stated "cluth dry type..." but from what I know m750 are wet cluth. so if it's indeed a dry type I'll be able to install a "open" type cluth cover right? any info. on this? thanks! J

97 750 were wet clutch bikes.

also, just a heads-up, the 97 M750 is the only monster that you cant replace the clutch slave with a aftermarket unit.
changes are limited to braided lines and adjustable levers only

That is really really a decision you need to make. Do get steel lines though.
