Hey Guys, will a 200/60/17 fit into a 2015 1200s.
There is method in my madness. I hope.
I'm trying to get a little extra ground clearance from my 2015 1200s. I scrap the exhaust all to easy, and have scraped the side stand I few times too. I have applied a little extra pre-load to the shock to reduce compression in the corner. I'm wanting to fit 200/60/17. Michelin power 5. I had the RS on my previous monster and they were brilliant.
The concept for the 200 60s is a higher tyre profile to lift the back of the bike higher. I will I'll raise the front to match.

Not sure if you attempted this or found out if it is possible. I am also interested in this for 2015 Monster 1200S

I doubt if the extra 5mm each side will cause problems as long as your mudguards can fit the extra 15mm or so all the way around. I prefer the higher aspect ratios as well. Your speedo will be off about 5% though.

Yes it is very do-able. I ended up going with 200/55/17. I wanted Michelins power 5s and thay dont do a 60 series. A 200/60 profile does fit
