Why? What happened?

I got my bike there and was quite pleased with them.

Or, maybe I don't want to know...ignorance really is bliss.

i'd link you to the thread, but i think it's been removed.

reader's digest version: they denied a (valid) warranty claim based on something that was written on the DML.

Hope the scoot never needs it.

Spectrum has allocation for over a hundred 1098s for 2007. You will not get the initial delivery at this point, but they will definitely have bikes after the Feb release.

I think pretty much all the 1098 that Spectrum will receive are already sold out (they have around 30 deposits... plus 28 deposits on the Desmo16 Replica   )

Spectrum has always been good to me. I would buy my next bike from without any hesitation. They are the #! dealer in North America for a reason.

Aaron and all the guys at Spectrum have been great to me. The best dealer experience I've ever had. Only place I'd buy a Duc.

i know plenty of people that've had wonderful purchase experiences at spectrum.

i also know of a few people that have had... "disappointing" service experiences at spectrum.

there is a story behind ducman851's comment. i'm not sure if the thread still exists on the board or not.

I've only been to Spectrum once and had a good experience. I went to get my Power Commander tuned, and they found that I had a bad fuel pump. They fixed the problem under warranty and honored a month old discount on the tuning.
