yeah but thats to get rid of last years old stock, this is the new big thing. msrp is 15 for the standard, 20 for the 'S', 25 for the 'tricolor'

That Tri-Color is just BUTT Ugly.... not sure what they were thinking with that...but the rest of that bike is just pure sexy!!!

I just think its all tooooo much... maybe white and Red... but white black green red gold... its all to overwhelming...

THe Alice paint scheme is nice... nicly played...not too over the top, thats what they should have done. Now for the bike with the extras...it rocks...

Still a stunning bike non the less!!!! I would love to jump on that...but i have to wait till my wife has a kid i think..before i can jump on another bike!!!

Mark at CLT Duc Tri BMW has told me that they're having a behind the scenes unveiling of the 1098 in Feb. when they receive the first bike. Yellow is in fact the second color of the base model with black being the secondary color on the S version.

I'm second in line on the base model, and instead of waiting around for a yellow model to arrive, I'm gonna go with the red since that is what Ducati is producing first.

So far I've read about half of the stuff in the MC mag about the 1098, and I want one. I can't afford one for at least another year or two, but I want one. Of course, it'll be a toss up between this and a BMW sport / touring bike.... I need to make more money!
