OK, just out of curiosity, but likely not out of originality, what does everyone think of the new superbike?

Congrats. I wish I could justify one.
justify? To whom...yourself? Quit talking to yourself, and buy what you want! Its only money, you'll make more. [thumbsup]

yeah ... how do you justify your 620? don't you know motorcycles are dangerous?
I stopped justifying things when I realized that life is just a blink and then it's over. Motorcycles aren't meant to be justified to anyone. They're ridden as to avoid justification. Call me stupid, but the main stem of motorcycle riding has everything to do with going against the normal "justification" society we currently exist and dwell in. 8)

I'm trying to be fiscally responsible. Let me pay the current bike off and the car, then we'll talk >:D

But do you love it more than you'd love a 1098? ;D
Thank God Ducati got away from stacking the headlights vertically on the superbikes. The bike just screams attitude now! 8)

As far as Superbikes go, I think Ducati has finally done it right. ;D Not say'n that the 916-999 weren't great bikes, or even 851's for that matter, but as far as price and performance goes, the 1098 is gonna do wonder for Ducati, especially here in the states. If I could git speedy paid fer in the next year or so, wouldn't mind add'n a black 1098 to the stable to keep her company. ;) ;D

i liked that about the 999s, it was different than most other brands. side-by-side looks just like R1s etc
+1. One of the features they could have kept. We'll just close our eyes and listen for the difference.
Different doesn't always mean better.

I, for one, thought the front end of the 999 was hideous.

New Motor Cycle mag has the TenNineEight in it....and i like it!!! its pretty snazzy....Sexy.... love the front end... The headlights i like a lot better than the over under style on the 999 (though the it was nice to see a change from the decade of the hammerhead look).

I will be up for buying one of these.... but i need to see an S version or R....not that i could get the R... but an S version for 18,000.... I could do that!!!
