Hi, guys.

The promised MP3 can be found at http://pdbogen.com/engineNoise.mp3 . You'll hear what I'm talking about a few seconds in.

My M695 has about 10k-11k miles on it. I got the 7500 mi. service not too long ago, and very recently changed the oil.

At around 2800 RPM, I'm experiencing some very noticable engine noise. It can't be heard anywhere above or below that. I haven't noticed any loss of power, nor loss of MPG.

This is in neutral, or in gear, or with the clutch in. My *guess* is the valves? I don't trust that the dealer I went to did the service correctly, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised. I also recently had the rear tire replaced (by a local, non-Ducati dealer), but I don't think they would've done anything to cause this?

Any input?

Does the sound change if you clutch/declutch? If it does is probably wear in the clutch basket
