I had my local shop adjust it to be stronger (it was stalling even after fast idling for a few minutes) and now it starts up in the morning even without, which is nice. But it also idles at 1.2k - 1.5k at stops once it is warmed up. My mileage also seems to be affected. I'm getting around 80mi instead of 100mi before the fuel light comes on.

Is there an adjustment for just the idle speed? Is this a mixture issue? I'm not sure how to adjust either. I would like to be able to make minor adjustments myself, rather than taking it back to the shop.

Pictures would be helpful, as I don't know what I'm doing.

1200-1500 is about normal for a warm idle. My racebike idles almost 1800 rpm.

I like how it sounds more at a lower rpm idle. I'm shooting for maybe 1.1k 1.2k tops, when fully warmed.

What did your dealer do to speed up the idle? Idle speed is controlled by a stepper motor and what would have been the idle speed screw is merely a base setting.
