I am currently only running my monster on the track, and I want to remove the kickstand and just use a rearstand.

I want to do this for several reasons, but to keep it short my stand rubs against my exhaust, and there is one section of firebird that has a bump and my stand scraps each time I go over it, and since I cant seem to avoid hitting the bump(I cant even see where it is, but I feel it), and I am scared I will hit too hard and lift my rear wheel, I want to just remove it and use a rearstand.

**QUESTION**: What is the best way to remove the kickstand, and still allow my footpeg hanger to screw in with the proper spacer( since the my hanger attaches on the outside of where the kickstand attaches), and allow my engine to bypass the safety wiring ( can I just take off the stand and leave the upper components)?

Thank you for your time, Zach.

Why not remove the pivot bolt and spring and leave the rest?
