All,

Just curious as to the major differences between the two. I am looking into a '02 M750S for about $5500 and an '00 M750 Dark for about $3800. Both have a little less than 6K miles...I just dunno if it is really worth the extra 1700 to spend on the other, newer model. Price isn't an issue, but then again, $1700 would be nice to have to spend on mods and stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

yeah go with the 2000. It's easier and cheaper to fix if something goes wrong and with the extra cash get some customization done ;D

Cool. I was just gonna pipe up in favor of the '02 750. Though it pains me to see it for such a low price having just bought a new one for lets just say, a lot f**king more.:-/ Really though, that seems like an incredible price. I gotta tell you, its a great bike. I'm loving mine more and more every day. I can certainly see the logic behind getting a larger one down the road, but d**n, the 750 is a total f-ing blast in my book.

Good luck, and enjoy. What color?

It's the Gray/Red...which is a HUGE reason why I wanted the '02 and would spend the extra money...sounds silly...but I think that colorway is the HOTNESS...I'm trying to get in touch with the seller as we speak b/c I want to get it...hasn't gotten back to me yet...keep your fingers crossed!!! Pretty soon I'll be able to have a little blurb under my name that says '02 M750S...Can't wait!!

DUDE! That will be sweet! The grey/red is way worth the extra $$$. It's a total people attracter which makes owning and riding the bike that much funner. I just shined mine up this afternoon and it's as pretty as the day it left the dealer.

But be careful; don't be blinded by lust and miss any obvious red flags (please, red wheels only ;))

Good luck. Keep us posted.

I know wat you're saying...This will be my first bike, so I don't really know wat to look for...but the bike/individual was recommended by someone on here that I think is a very valued member who knows his stuff...since I have come to respect everyone on here, I'm assuming that he wouldn't lie about it...I will check the numbers and such just to make sure though....Thanks for the warning!
