My M796 can runs up to 4 bars easily (sometimes even 5 bars) on temp. gauge when in hot weather.
Outside temp. in summertime is normally above 30°C in my place.
And its causing starting issue when shown at 4~5bars.

Then I figured.. why not setting up a cooling fan.

I chose delta DC 12V fan 6w 80x80x25, connect it to a temp. control module which is powered by 12V port underseat.
To fix the fan behind the radiator, I use a low cost piece of metal temporarily.
(Finalized proper sheet metal design is on-going.)

*THE FAN SETUP REQUIRES RELOCATION OF THE HORN
**After this modification, the bike runs under 4bar during city ride in hot weather.

One side of the fan attach to the fix point of the radiator (using the metal piece)
while the other side is tightened with a zip tie.

zip tie the fan together with the oil route

The here's the new location for the horn
The connection of original horn had been extended and routed to the left side.

Nice! Does the fan blow or suck air through the oil cooler?

A second, smaller oil cooler would probably get it done too. I am thinking of adding a second cooler to my M1100 to keep temps down.
