Thin-walled 18mm spark plug socket

Has anyone used one of these to get their spark plugs out? It's for an 02 S4, and the previous owner must have had aftermarket 18mm plugs installed.

I tried the 5/8 plug socket that came with the tool kit, but that won't fit over the plug. I tried a standard wall 18mm plug socket, but that won't fit in the hole. I read that some people just grind down an 18mm socket until it fits, but I'd just as soon buy a thin-walled one and save the time & potential damage.

The Motion Pro one is often not thin enough for situations like this. The Honda 18mm tool is known to be the go-to tool in these cases.
