OEM part pricing

Hello fellow Monster pals,

Some sad news to report: my 2001 750dark and I took a fall on the freeway 1.5 weeks ago. Some cool guy decided it was ok to take my lane while I was still in it. The frame sliders saved my bike and somehow I managed to not get run over! He "never saw" me and so his insurance is taking all liability.

So now the insurance wants pricing on parts. I called the nearest dealer and they are swamped with bikes, meaning I will be waiting nearly two weeks just to get them to even look at my bike. I asked them to simply give me a price on replacement parts but they weren't very cooperative.

Does anyone know of any easily accessible (online) resources to get prices for OEM parts? Some of my list includes:
* Tank
* Front Right Fork
* Handlebars/grips
* Side panels

Thanks everyone. I really want to get back on the road since the bike is still mechanically sound and I'm just fine.

Re: OEM part pricing

All I know is that the tank is very expensive. If you can maybe you can get the money for the damaged fork and buy your self a set of adjustable forks.

Maybe it's a good idea to have the dealer look at the damage...maybe your frame isn't as straight as it used to be

Re: OEM part pricing

Great to hear you are OK. Bike bandit will work for part prices, but I think you want an estimate from a shop including labor. There is also a possibility there is damage you can't see.
