Marzocchi 43mm forks

Iím changing the springs in my 1100evo 2013 Marzocchi forks. Iím thinking of getting the race tech gold valves, but, I canít seem to find a manual for these forks anywhere.

Anyone have a copy or suggestions for the valve installation?

G'day mate!

A guy called Matti in Germany wrote a blog with heaps of technical details and modification on his Monster 1100 Evo.

It's in German but Google Translate does a pretty ok job.

This page from his site contains a link to the fork manual: https://monster1100evo.wordpress.com...rzocchi-gabel/

I personally went with the Andreani cartridge because I regularly do track days with the bike. However I reckon correct springs and tapered compression needles would be good enough.
The main problem for fast pace riding is the progressive spring.

I read so much of that blog, made a comment, and got an email from Matti. Very comprehensive info on a lot of modifications in that blog.

I've ended up ordering Ducati M1100 Monster Evo K-Tech Compression Adjusters (07-15) , 118-250-026-001 FF PISTON KIT MARZOCCHI 26mm , and HPFS FORK SPRING PAIR from their Oz agent http://www.ridedynamics.com.au/ at Yatala near Brizvegas.
No real idea which kit would be better.

At the rear, I've replaced the Sachs spring with an Eibach 0700-225-650, $140 + local freight.

The outer diameter of the lower stanchions is 43mm. The inner damping pistons are 26mm.

Hey Alan, Did you compare the race tech gold valve vs k-tech? Iíve had a look couldnít find too much. Iíve been looking at the SS piston kit looks a lot easier than the race tech valves to install.

If you go to his main page, he has a Google translate function built right into the site, near the bottom.

His site has a wealth of info!
