You still dont know exactly what you are dealing with since it is a salvage bike. I would consider getting all new electronics for the bike; or something on ebay at least.

I will second what you wrote. I had a 2007 M750, and when I bought it used in 2011 from a dude in Wenatchee, it was almost bone stock except for the Termi exhaust. It had absolutely no problems...
