like i said, i'm 90% sure it will clear... but there's a freak possibility that it might not.

dude, shipping is cheap... order em from PJs... let em know beforehand you may have to return them if they don't test=fit up right. they are cool people.

i have the rizoma's and i don't think you could run certain high mount brands due to the way they high mount using the low mount bolt hole, like Mivv, and quat d i think.

Re: Rizoma Reasets non high-mount campatible?

I already had spacers installed, as they came with my high-mounts. I guess I could buy and hope they fit, but I'd have to eat the s/h cost if they needed to be returned. I want rearsets soon, but can wait a bit to see if I find something better that I like.

Re: Rizoma Reasets non high-mount campatible?

as klagdon says, the issue is the possibility of interference between the S pipe on himounts and the rearsets. You may be able to significant reduce the possibility of interference by replacing the lowmount pipe "arm" with spacers of the same thickness behind the rearset mount. This arm is not attached to the rest of the rearset- it simply sit underneath the rearset and shares a mounting hole.

this is likely to cure interference, but I cannot guarantee you won't still get some interference from the rearset itself, since it's nonstandard.

Re: Rizoma Reasets non high-mount campatible?

It probably depends on the specific hi-mount pipes you want to get. I've got stock rearsets with Fresco high mount pipes on my Monster 620 and I know a guy who has a new 695 with rizoma rearsets. I've been thinking of buying rizomas myself and after we both looked over our bikes together we figured that the rizomas would probably work as long as you put in some spacers so they'll clear the pipes. To be honest, the only way you may know for sure is to order the rizoma rearsets and do what you can to get them installed knowing that you may have to return them if they don't fit.

Looks that way...

Ok, posting the question clear as day, and anyone that knows PLEASE respond...

CAN I USE RIZOMA'S ON A HI-MOUNT IF I AM GOING TO STAY PASSANGER FREE

I'm now assuming yes, although They seem to be made to allow for the passanger mounts, which kind of makes them bigger than they need to be. I just don't want to fork over the $$ if they won't fit.
