it's a P32 type caliper, forget if it is a F or G, but they are the same kit.

about $17 for the pucks and $10 for the seal/bolt kit

i have a related question, where is the best place to get caliper rebuild kit. they are 120$ at closest dealer to me.

Hopefully they will be fine (I think they will be okay). Can you see any brake fluid leaking through around the piston.

If they are screwed up, you should be able to buy some new seals and do it yourself.

I did a dumb thing and adjusted the brake too tight . . . went off on a ride and smoked (actually burned) the brake pads . . . I have ordered new pads, but I'm worried that I damaged the seals on the pistons . . .

You can buy a rebuild kit or just buy a new caliper.

Why do you say you may need to rebuild it?

I may need to have my rear brake caliper rebuilt (2006 S2R 800) any ideas . . . I live in Maui Hawaii and no dealer near by . . .
