Seems to have extra part where there it's holed up to lighten it up? Thoughts?
The second one is just showing it installed in the flywheel retainer ring (that's the disk with the holes in it - it bolts to the flywheel).

Will probably call Monday to see if there's any truth to the "non-recall recall" so I know for the future.
Thanks for the info BTW.

Without actually seeing the sprag, google appears to show that they are metal.

I'm new to Ducati, are there sites to order OEM? Or do I really need to go to the local dealership?
I just went thru DucatiOmaha: https://www.ducatiomaha.com/products/70140501a

Will see if it's the plastic one when it gets here I guess...didn't find this thread until after it was ordered up, and 70140501A was what was listed...vs the metal-caged 70140351A.

Sprag finally arrives here Tues. All in all, not a difficult job so far if you don't mind spinning wrenches.

I'm curious if the replacement part has the plastic holder. Seemed like the Diavels had a recall to ditch those, but couldn't find much on the Monsters...? I'd already torn in and had the part on order, but might be worth a call for your situ' just to see...

I picked up a 2016 1200S and it's having the exact same problem. I wanted to go for a ride today (63F) and Qwack! Then free spinning... I've had the bike for less than 2 years.

Thanks for the info. This confirmed my research.
