Just purchased a new 2013 Ducati Monster 796. Great bike, nice feel and cool sound. Comming from the cruiser world, have to get used to the feel of this Monster. A bit more rough than what I am used to. I have noticed that my right hand tends to becom numb after a while, does any one have any suggestions to help me out whith this predicament.

Great forum, hours of interesting reading.

Cheers,

Charles

Glad you're enjoying the bike. I made the same switch from a cruiser to the 796. Make sure you are gripping the tank with your legs and using your lower back muscle to keep the weight off your wrists. You want your arms nice and loose, not elbows locked. Also don't grip the bars to tightly. All of this, and some time to get used to it solved my hands going numb. Good luck!
