Oh man, it's killing me to write this, PLEASE help, I'm a 30 year old long time DMLer and had my baby stolen yesterday (7-11-12) from Chico CA.

Too many parts to list but here goes...

**DML ALTERNATOR COVER (black)**
Full Ohlins Suspesion
999s brembo brakes
Brand new Brembo Radial Forged hand controls (not in pics)
Carbon BST Front Wheel

**Ducati Corse Magnesium Lower Triple clamp, (off a race bike, you can't buy those)**
The list goes on...

Man that sucks so much..... I do hope you find it.

Even though your heart is broken, can you please share the details of the theft with the board so other members can learn from the experience? Was it at home, in a parking lot, was it secured at all? And could you tell us what you would have done differently now that you've been through it? I am always paranoid of turning my back on my Ducati's.

Sorry to hear DD... hate reading these posts. I'll definitely keep my eyes open for it on the streets of LA/SFV.

Ducati's are not stolen that often because they are hard to steal and difficult to sell. But when they do sell, they sell well. THe electronics are tricky and the engine immobilizer works well.

here's a good read for us all:

It was under my gazebo in the side yard, not secured that day, nor insured this month as I was shopping for different insurance... somewhat of a perfect storm of suck... hehe... keep the shiny side up, cheers!

Staying positive! I think I'll find it even if it's moths away...

Ugh! Sometimes the world just needs someone, anyone, to kick in the nutz. Sounds like it was your turn. Feeling for you brother and hoping for the best.

Thanks you guys, nutz are begining to recover... please keep posting in this thread, you're the target audience for this high-end bike/ these high-end parts... if it's in pieces it's a good chance some will end up here... It takes a community to return swift nut kicks back to these idiots... Thanks and it's really nice to have a long lasting close nit forum like this around, keep the shiny side up
