The 821 is not a "upgrade", it's a different bike. Electronics, rider aids, water cooled (and not very attractive IMO with all the exposed coolant hoses), seating position, etc.

The 797 is marketed to buyers that want a new bike, don't want to spend a ton of money, and want a simple air cooled, light, naked Ducati. Or they want a second or third bike - like me.

Ducati has nailed it by bring this back since the 796 was phased out. The 821 is not a bike to attract new riders.
All reasons I have a 2013 1100 Diesel and 2013 796 (day ride).

How is the 797? I am one step away from buying it. Anyone has experiences with heating? I heard it overheats a lot.

anybody know what a replacement front rim for Ducati Monster 797 2017
hey guys sorry for my bad English
I have a 2017 Ducati 797 with a dented Rim need to get replaced
the price of the rim is completely ridiculous almost 1,700 US dollars
I try to order one from eBay, seems to be that the Chinese company was ripping people off selling them the wrong rim. I actually did a video to show you guys https://youtu.be/MeveUvwfMzw
now I'm stuck again with no rim. anybody know what could fit from a different model of Ducati? I am in Los Angeles California USA

My first Ducati

My 2018 797 is my first Ducati. My first light weight bike in 30 years. It is an entry bike but so much fun that I do not ride my BMW K bike that much more although if it every gets cold again the heated grips and full faring is going to win.
