Exhaust Dent - Monster 1200 S

Hello all,

I'm looking to purchase a Ducati Monster 1200 S and the previous owner dropped it when they were walking it up their driveway. Because of that, there is a small dent in the exhaust and tank.

Is this a deal breaker? Does the dent affect performance or is it dangerous?

Also, if anyone has a star white 1200S for sale, let me know.

Thanks

That is a weird place to get a dent walking up your driveway, it looks like it hit a corner. Unless it hit like a raised edge of asphalt, like falling half on the grass. Check that the handlebars are not tweaked.

I don't know much about exhaust, I would call and see how much for an OEM replacement part and compare if the cost of the bike compared to other comparable used bikes offsets the cost of replacing the part.
