Meh... sometimes you just have to 'run what you brung.' I'd spray it like you wanted and put the tank decals on... and worry about a proper paint job later.

$322 isn't terrible, as long as they fixed it proper. Interesting about the bondo, however.

Alright after too long of a delay I am back up and finished. I just finished putting the decals on a few min ago. I ended up going with a matte black instead of a flat black. You can see the small dents and stuff up close but it looks good from a little distance. It will work to get me by till I can save up and paint the tank properly.

Rock on! Looks like it's good to go for the summer, anyway. You'll have plenty of time this winter to get it sprayed up....
