I found an interesting article, I try not to use gas with ethanol when possible: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ga...src=SOC&dom=fb

One of the biggest scams in the US. Ethonal actually causes more pollution then leaded. Do a search, look for yourself.

The next biggest brain storm by the EPA, otherwise known as the German SS, is to increase this to 15%. I have heard 20% which nothing you own will run on it.

Battery car in your future? If the green weenies get their way you bet. Iwoa farmers are already laughing to the Bank.

I run what's called around here "clear" no ethanol gas in my bike and power tools. Costs a buck 'o five more but worth it not having the grief of ethanol gumming up the fuel systems.

I wave to everyone on two wheels (unless it's a car).

Yea unfortunately it's no longer available in many parts of the country and especially here in SoCal. There is an abundence of discussions and products popping up to address the issue which apparently is indeed addressable with the right product. Jay Leno who's often up on The Snake on weekends is often vocal about the gas he has "shipped" in. That's unfortunately illegal and for budgets much more aligned to Jay's than mine. He has however been nice enough to offer a free tank full should anyone wanna stop by his shop. For now I'm using STA-BIL's new product designed for use at each fill up. Only time will tell how effective it may or may not be!

I'm no fan of ethanol, but the swelling tank problem was totally Ducati's fault. Ethanol isn't new so Ducati should have considered the fuel mixture used in the USA / EU and made sure the plastic tanks worked as expected.

I can no longer find the article but it was not fully Ducati's fault. It's the German ss, also known as the EPA. There are only two types of plastic allowed due to the chemicals used in the manufacture. Each one does not like water.

If I ever find the post on a forum where I read it I will be sure to post it.

Remember, the EPA is not your friend. They have stifled this Country to its knees. Don't look for a change either.

If you can find it read about the House Bill called Cap and Trade. Put on the back burner. For now. I don't remember the bill number. I read most of it while the other half read the Affordable Health Care Act. Yeah, you know.

Green weenies are coming. Lock and Load.
