Looks good, of course, this is the good side. ;) Glad to see they redesigned the passenger peg/exhaust hanger.

Wonder what the price will be...

way way way way wayyyyy beyond my riding skill. Though its great to see what they can do with a newer monster but I for one don't really need the extra 90odd hp.

those stock exhaust seem to look better and better every year

My Multistrada makes 150hp, you get used to it quickly and it is intoxicating. ;)

I like that this Monster sits taller than the current Monster does. I felt really cramped on the 821. There is no way I'd ever buy that bike.

Time to try and convince the wife on the reasons as to why I need this bike.

Those passenger pegs look removable and the bike is less cramped. The original 1200 should have been designed this way. If they improved the dash visibility, they can take my money.

Since the "micro" fairing isn't very large and has a clear plexiglass screen it's not likely that the cluster readability issue has been addressed.

Yes, I'm familiar with that photo, which again shows the micro fairing won't help with cluster visibility (or much with windblast).

Am I the only one who finds the 821 and this new 1200 to be the ugliest Monster ever? Something about the short (non-existant) trellis frame and all the extra hoses really turns me off of this bike.
