Hello from a sunny London, England

Hi,

New to your forum, I've had a monster for a while now and was trawling the web for Monster sites. I'm already a member of www.ukmonster.co.uk and thought I'd sign up here to see what kind of help and advice you guys and gals throw around. I'm looking at shipping my bike out to the States later this year and touring for a few months. Tourist visa problems need to be overcome first (unless one of you wants to give me a job and greencard! )

Speak to you soon.

Phil

Welcome Phil and hello from sunny (but still cold) CT. I don't have any jobs open at the moment, but if you get to New England during your tour let me know! Always up for a ride!

Well I'm a Brit, live in Houston Texas and have a Monster..way to go y'all! . Welcome to a new member from my home town (I'm actually from Bromley in SE London).

It will be sunny here tomorrow and will be a pleasant 70 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday...That's nice biking weather! .

What do you mean 'warmer soon'? Over here Global Warming seems to be a lamentably slow process! As for GATSOs there are now more cameras than Traffic Wardens, and there are already more Traffic Wardens than human beings... Still, on two wheels at least it's 0mph - the next traffic light before the car drivers have thought about putting down the cardboard cup of Starbucks and the 'phone........

Re: Hello from a sunny London, England

How 'bout we swap houses? I'm in the San Fran area. Do you have a garage in London? We could call it a fair swap. Just tell them you're only coming over for a couple of weeks, and then forget to catch the flight you didn't book. You could push it to a year no prob... We can just get a nice printer and pop out some greenbacks as you need them.

Have you in fact got any cheese here at all?
Yes sir!
Really?
No, not really sir.
You haven't?
No sir, not a scrap. I was deliberately wasting your time.

Re: Hello from a sunny London, England

Hi Phil,

Glad to hear that is't sunny. I'm taking my 11 year old son to London next month for his first trip to the "old country" (I was born in Southport but emigrated to the US as a small child).

I'm also in CT (and also have no job for you), so look us all up when you get here.
