Base Layer for Summer?

I noticed when I wear my leather jacket with just a t-shirt I'm getting some kind of sweat bruise or something from the leather jacket along the inside of my arms.

So does anyone have a recommendation for a long sleeve base layer that also keeps you cool under a leather jacket?

I've been looking for cotton or rayon but everything seems to be made from polyester.

Is it painful or anything? It might be just fugitive dye from the jacket.
Polyester actually is the best inexpensive material. It wicks away the moisture in a way that cotton doesn't.
If you're willing to spend a bit more, you can get silk undergarments, which are delightful.

Thanks Phil.

No I don't think it's dye, the jacket is lined. If I get the chance tomorrow I'll go check out what they have at the local MC store. If my arm gets that mark again I'll take a picture.

I got silk longjohns from Lands End some years ago; they work great in all weather.

This is not going to help any of the guys but for women looking for a comfortable light cool base layer, the Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve Crew from Lululemon is perfect. I actually figured it out on accident when I put this top on on a cooler day and it was not doing anything to make me warmer. Now it keeps me cool under my leathers now and comes in girly-colors :-D
