Re: Staying protected

oh no im worse trust me. I ride with an icon skull jacket, the helmet that has the ears is an Aria Black and Orange Hayden wire. with large tiger ears and tiger tale. I ran wires through the ears and tale so the tale looks like a cat crapping and the ears dont bend even at 130+ mph.

My wife just saw that picture of the tiger bike and guy in the outfit. She said "what the hell is that, so kinda tigger and motorcycle porn?" and said if I think about doing that I better find someone else to have kids with.

Re: Staying protected

Hey guys,

I am in the process of getting geared up myself. I have a good jacket, gloves, and helmet but I figure its time to get boots, a back protector, and some pants as well. Where is the best place on the web to shop for motorcycle gear? I have been looking on www.kneedraggers.com and they seem pretty good price and service wise. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Dan

Re: Staying protected

When I was hit this last January, I was wearing all of my gear minus pants and boots. I was only going a short distance so I didn't feel the need. My most severe injury was to my lower leg, ankle and foot. My boots would have most likely prevented this injury to a great extent. Full safety gear from now on no matter how short the ride.

Re: Staying protected

I agree with MonsterHooligan's recommendation. I've made a couple of purchases from New Enough myself. Even had to exchange for different size and they make that really easy.

That said, there's nothing like a good local shop if you have any available. It really is worth paying more; how much more is your own call.

If you don't have anything local... well you won't find better than NewEnough.
