Bought an '05 S2R IN A BOX -- Now What?

Greetings...my first post. I grew up building/racing bikes, and I thought the air-cooled Monster would be a good start to build a little wheelie machine for around town here in Southern California.

It has an Arrow exhaust, Power Commander, and an undertail plate, so the previous owners had some fun with it. However, the drain plug boss broke -- but that's nothing JB Weld won't fix -- so it was about to get parted-out on Ebay.

I have the digital repair manual, so I can see details in diagrams. But nothing is marked....everything is just in boxes and bags. As far as the motor goes, the intake is off, but the heads are still on.

Since it's an '05, there probably won't be too many around at the dealerships to study. Does anyone have any suggestions for the reassembly?

It might be a good investment to have a local Ducati mechanic come over after hours, and quickly throw it together so I can take it apart and see how it's put together for the final assembly after all the parts are sandblasted and detailed.

Thanks in advance for the help, and I look forward to contributing to the forum later.
