You need to methodically go through all the systems. I would start with a fuel pump pressure test, then verify all the mechanicals. IE compression and leak down tests, check valve clearances ETC. Once that is all done I would start scoping all the engine input sensors.

I had to go through this last year, turned out to be a bad crank sensor ground. I had a Ducati master tech fix mine. His comment was the ECUs on these bikes are rock solid and never go bad. Keep that in mind while investigating the problem. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had mentioned crank sensor before and it's always been on my list.

Today I fired up the guzzidiag and cables and saw a code for P0335 crankshaft sensor. Will be checking it out soon. Got to wax the Paul Smart this afternoon and do an oil change.

throttle bodies are out of spec mine was changing, bad low end backfiring plastic rear adjuster was moving on its self

Had a bad CPS on my 800 S2R. Piece o'cake to change, once you know what the problem is.

i had coils on my old monster that would work fine until you had ridden for 30 min or so they would get hot and fail.
