Monster 696 OEM clutch cover

I just purchased for my 2010 monster 696 a new OEM clutch cover from ebay with part number 243.2.118.AB. As i searched on the internet i found out that this clutch cover was made for Ducati 848 and the OEM number for me is 243.2.118.1AC. Will 243.2.118.1AB fit my monster? the only difecence i noticed is a slightly brighter color than my old one. Here are some photos. Thanks guys.

I'm not 100% sure but if the bolts spots and depth match up then I would suspect the only difference the last letter in the part number indicates (B vs C) is color variance. Once again not 100% sure, I couldn't find the part number: 243.2.118.AB. online I could only find 243.2.118.AC.

No problem at all. Wish I could help more. Also, I have the same bike as you, just a year difference in age. So if you ever want to knowledge share feel free to take/pm me here. As a fair warning, I'm a very new owner of the 696 just purchased mine 2 weeks ago.

Final note, if that cover doesn't end up working for you, I know that Ducabike makes clear clutch covers for our bike's wet clutch which I think adds a lot of looks to the bike, just an option in case you're looking to mod it more.

Hey AJZ , just found out that the only diference between 243.2.118.1AB (the one that i purchased, stock for 848 ) and 243.2.118.AC(the stock for 696) is the color. Im thinking of selling the one i purchased and put some more money and buy a clear clutch, but with the clear clutch i must change the stock pressure plate too, for the full visual effect . here are the 2 covers that i have now.
