Hi. That is a long time on bike oil because of the heat they generate. Assume you are using synthetic. You will get many opinions but 3000- 3500 would be more normal. T1

I ride my bike way too much to change it every 3000 Miles personally I think that's just ridiculous interval carried over from the 1980s

Definitely true on cars. Oil will usually go 7500 miles in good shape. Given the kind of riding you do you can go further than the norm.-T1

Actually have a test kit for this interval...going to get the oil lab tested...be nice to know if the main bearings are going before they fail
