Yeah...they're not cheap. I saved a few bucks with the VIP discount.....but they look nicer than using spacers to me.

I wouldn't like spacers either. All I used was an extra stainless lock washer.
The stainless bolt and washer set-up looks like this on both sides for less than 5 bucks:

I'm not criticizing btw. I actually bought some black oxide bolts too on amazon for $5 but I'm not using them.

I'm just pleased with the way the stainless look instead.
