I have one on my 821 stripe that it came with when I bought it. They look nice, but they don't do a whole lot for wind protection

Unfortunately no manufacturer currently offers anything even remotely attractive to break the wind on the new Monsters. When I approached Ducati NA about this they responded that they don't see the Monster series needing such an item. I guess they think if you want wind protection you'll buy a Multistrada.

I'm sure that tall windscreen works well but it's too ugly

I have it on my M1200S, and I like it a lot. But like Terry said, it doesn't offer much wind protection though. It does however redirect the wind a little higher, so for my height it does help. It also makes a difference when you're tucking in.

I like mine. It came with my bike. If I had bought a Monster without one, I would consider buying one. But I believe they're priced really HIGH for what they are.

On the freeway, when tucked in, I do notice the wind blast hitting the top of my helmet and when riding upright, the wind blast is right at my upper chest.

I have another bike (Harley) that is completely naked and the wind blast is all over. Though the riding positions are different.

I wish someone would make a carbon fiber replacement or tinted screen as no one really "looks through" the plastic.

phantom, Carbonvani makes one exactly like the one you're describing, looks very close to the OEM too, go take a look at their site

I went with the FullSix

I installed the FullSix carbon last week, I modified it a little by adding 1 1/4" rubber spacers to raise the fairing up for a little more protection. I like the shape of the FullSix better than the Carbonvani.
