Coolant level indicator

I have 4500 miles on my 14 Monster 1200 about 4000 miles, I noticed when I started it, it would read Low in the coolant window on the instrument panel. I checked the coolant reservoir and it was low, so I bought some Agip coolant and topped her off. coolant tempature gauge stopped reading low at start up. Again at start up I got the Low coolant indicator, it was a tad low so I topped her off again, but he sensor still says low until the coolant reaches the 104F level. Anyone else having issues with coolant indicator in the dash reading low, even after topping her off.

Oh no, that's what owners manuals are for.

"Low" means the temperature is lower than the range of the pick up. They don't begin to display numbers until about 100.

My S4RS won't display until 106.

If I wanted to be mean........ I so so so so so badly wanted............ to post a picture of my Paul Smart Sport Classic today. I pulled it out of the garage for a ride and when I turned the key to "on" the cluster said "low". I really really wanted to post a picture of the engine area and ask where to put the coolant in.

But that would have just been mean so I didn't. Really, honest, I refrained from doing that. All day even.
