Not sure since I too installed the longer side but if I had to guess the shorter side is 20mm, and the OEM bolt and longer thread is 30mm. The guy initially wrote me back saying "honestly it doesn't matter, but we suggest using the shorter side since its same as OEM". So I wrote back wondering about that since I measured the OEM, and its 30mm, not 20mm. Waiting to hear back. Either way I'm sure its fine (as he said himself). However I'm OCD and would prefer to do it right and for how it was intended. To me, it seems the longer side would be safer, especially considering the OEM bolt I measured was 30mm.

"okay after measuring all components, they can be flipped either way and the thread is fine, it is supposed to be spec'd with the 27mm (longer thread end) in the motor, the way you originally installed, sorry for the confusion."

So looks like the longer thread of that engine stud is what goes in the engine. So I think we're good as we already installed them.

Agreed. I bought these, and the first part of the instructions say that they're for a Diavel.

Their instructions can be found at their website... Or in one of the first posts in this thread.

They are not that good though... they leave out that you should make some slack in the radiator hose on the left, and they say they are for a Diavel but have a pic of the Monster on the instructions. They also do not say how the plastic bit goes together, and you end up figuring that out for yourself.
