I got the spy r's in 2011 when I first got my 696. Not sure what size, but they were too small for me. I think most people get them for the looks and to stay legal. If you want a more functional mirror go for the bigger ones. If you turn your head to check (which you should be doing anyway) and just want them for the look get the smaller.

Good luck.

I certainly turn my head just to be sure and do other drivers take notice, wish there were a spy 70 option.

Anybody else?

got the smallest ones. can see perfect in them and didnt think of getting bigger ones. they have a concave mirror so basically you can see the full road behind you. from one side to another

Great shots and good looking bike, I am leaning towards the smaller ones, would like to see larger ones mounted... maybe I will have to make some card board cut-outs!

oh, one big problem with rizoma spy r, you cannot mount any bar end sliders on there. well you can but it will look ridiculous. so im actually building bar end sliders which can support rizoma spy r mirrors. ill post pictures once done. hope OP wont mind me posting some pictures here?

No way, more info the better, think I'm leaning towards the smaller ones, 80mm seem like they would look to big.
