Increase comfort of riding position of the Monster.
Did it Solve Problem: Absolutely. Raises bar 1 1/4 and takes what is a decent riding position of the stock Monster and greatly improves it. With the addition of the bar risers, the bike has the exact position I wish it had from the factory. For a guy my size, 5'-11" and 170# it is perfect. I would think it would be good for shorter riders as well because it does bring the bar closer to the rider at the same time it raises the bar.
Features that worked well
Requires no modifications at all. Simply remove the four stock bar clamp bolts, remove the top of the bar clamp, insert the bar riser under the bar and bolt it back together. No other modifications needed at all. It is literally a two minute modification that will dramatically improve the comfort of the bike.

None at all. Could not be easier.
Summary
I have used Heli Bars and Corbin Seats on other bikes I have owned and been happy with the improvements they offered, but these bar risers are the best modification I have made to any bike to improve comfort. They are less expensive than Gen Mar and from what I can see were better quality. Also, these guys at Eastern Cycle are real Ducati people and very nice to deal with. These risers do not require any modifications at all and I believe they will work on all Monsters. Eastern Cycle did not mark up shipping. They do not have a true online ordering system, but you can fax in your order if you just do not want to call it in.
