It says the roads on the list, including East Canyon are, are generally closed between October and May. Hopefully that means there's a decent chance it'll be open in the nest week or two.

They need to run a street sweeper along it. That road can get a lot of crap on it, even in the warm weather. A friend went down on some gravel last year and totaled his CBR.

Was up there today and it's still not open, I can't remember when it opened up last year. When did it open up last year anyone recall?

Squaw Peak Road (up Provo canyon) usually opens up May 1st-even though it is often clear of snow before then.


I think May 1 is typically the open up date for most canyons (unless there's still snow).
