So I've found a pair off of an 848. Good price.
I've found a nice triple from AMI and they can make it for the monster and for the Showa forks.
Now for the wheel... If the triple is made for the monster will the same wheel fit with no problems or will it need spacers? Or should I just find a 848 front wheel?
What am I looking at here?
Oh and how does the ABS system fit into the equation?

Not sure about your forks/triple but the 848 wheel will fit a stock 696, you will just need 796/1100 rotors as the offset is different. You will also need an impulse wheel (ABS ring) from a 796/1100 for your ABS to work.
