I've heard of folks running them like that, but never heard any long term results.
Personally I wouldn't do it. There is a science to exhaust tuning. You could decrease the performance.
And then yesterday a post was made in this thread about the owners bike running so lean his pipes began to run red hot and caused issues. http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/...help-s4rs.html Now that doesn't mean it can't work, just means you need to have the fueling adjusted to match. In general terms you should always consider a cause and effect when doing things to an engine. When you do something to one area, what do you need to do to to another area to get things back in order.
