but the more important question is how far did you push it after finding out?

About 3/4 of a mile. 400+ lbs is no joke man. Especially in full gear, it was freakin' hot man.
Hope everyone gets a good laugh out of my misfortune. >
I know I did...................once I got home. [cheeky]

I think we've all been there at least once in our lives.

Re: A full tank gets me 117 miles on my Monster, ask me how I know
a full tank on my monster gets me....112 mi (city). I found out the first time I ever rode the damn thing.
Obv. one would be having far too much fun their first time out on a Monster to pay attention to a little bittie thing such as the gas light, right?
Although I didn't bother pushing. I called the bf and made him bring me gas - this is an advisable alternative. The best part is that I didn't realize the bike wouldn't start in gear after that and it took me a looooong (way way way too long) time to figure that out. My bf was standing on the side of the road whining "well you already broke your new toy. i knew it!" until I figured it out.
rn_joe - sorry for the sore arms but thanks for starting this thread. it makes me feel better. I was kinda embarrassed about the incident before! [cheeky]
