Default So I Walked Out to the Bike This Morning. . .

and in my half asleep daze tugged on the bars to back it out of the garage and it barely moved. Tried again and there was quite a bit of resistance, so copius WTF looks ensue. Brakes, no. Clutch, no. Then it finally sifts through the 5:45am fog. Flat freaking tire. At least I found out while the bike was stationary.

Curiously this happened last year about the same time and about the same state of tire wear. Wear bars. Pfft. Who needs them to indicate when to change your tire when you can just get a flat.

Same thing happened to me on Sunday. I put a half inch tack (furniture maybe?) through the front tire. I feel your pain. Like you said, better to have found it while you weren't moving though.

Yep. I'm going to pull the wheel tonight and get the tire replaced during lunch tomorrow.

Vinucci can teach you to ride a bike with no air the tire. [thumbsup]

Last stop for gas before heading home after Saturday's long ride I noticed his front tire looked low. Barely registered on the gauge, maybe 5 pounds.

Hey Vin, I think Ducati's looking for a new MotoGP Mechanic for Stoner.

Rossi would appreciate it! ;D

Scary. Just low or was it a puncture.

Got a hitchhiking screw in the middle of the tread most likely picked up from the corner gas station where they were doing some construction work recently.

I have stock in fix-a-flat.

Is there a CycleGear in Austin?!

I'm sure I'll need to use their flat tire program if I end up moving there. :
