Default a mini-grand prix effort (pics inside)

OK, so one of my neighbors, and a friend up in the heights and another guy set out this past saturday (8 mar.) to participate in the texas mini GP series. here are some photos of the event:

the course:

haha, corven and vinnuci will note that in the ratty, black, fading to red leathers, is me out front (#88), but not for long....i lead maybe another turn or three, and was passed by that kid (#155) and then markus, but passed markus (mooneyes) back when he crashed and was next to last place with whoever that was in the very back tailing me for the rest of the race.

OK, so it was really really cool and i am proud to say i have participated in my very first motorcycle race ever. i'm missed out on the endurace races sunday but am very much looking forward to round two coming up early april.... http://tmgps.8k.com/

Hot d@mn, I'm jealous! You bastard!

I had a chance to fill in on a couple of teams early on, but waited too long to make the decision so it was a no-go for me >

Make no mistake, those pint-sized kids can easily ride around you like you're out for a leisurely sunday morning drive.
Plus, they have less distance to hit the ground if they ever do crash. The little punks.

Mark said he had a great time getting his license and then enduracing on Sunday. How did Rob do?
Are you going to endurance at the next Katy weekend?

Hey, the dye is already starting to wear off LOL.

I've seen these machines before, but I can't remember who makes them...they're 80cc or 100cc aren't they? Are there any local dealers that support these brands?
